The thought came to me when I was leaning on our kitchen counter, staring out the window unknowingly making my way through a whole tub of Dari’s Table Pine Nuts Hummus…

I have heard that Yehiel is a passionate chef who desires to cook nothing but the best. I have a food intolerance to garlic, so to find their pine nut hummus packing a punch without any garlic is incredible! What really appeals to me is that in a more then 25 year obsession with cooking, chef Kaplan has learnt many things but none more important than the first rule for creating recipes: add nothing that’s not essential to the flavour and this is why their products stand out. I contacted the wonderful people at Dari’s Kitchen a few years back now, purely to ask permission to blog about giving you a quality product to include in your proposal picnic hamper. I was planning on picking up some dips from my local supermarket to photograph but they were so incredibly kind and insisted on delivering a box of products to shoot for this post. I have personally tried everything* (mostly without garlic but a few with, because I couldn’t resist) and I can honestly say that you can’t go wrong with any of the Dari’s Table or Pilpel range as their products are fantastic.
